[OOM: Orpheus - after the release party]

The record label is putting Orpheus up for the night in a hotel near Central Park. No one looks twice when Orpheus is accompanied by the young man in a striped suit, not that questions would drive Steve from Orpheus's side anyway.

There's champagne and a fruit basket from the hotel, and once Steve has put the LP safely with his luggage, he snags an apple--the food at the party was good but tiny, and he's hungry again--and gets comfortable on the brocade couch as he has a bite and loosens his tie.

It's been something of an overwhelming night.

"Perfect," Orpheus says softly, closing his eyes.

Steve takes a bite of the apple, and when he kisses Orpheus again his lips are sticky with its juice.

Orpheus sets down his champagne to slide an arm around Steve, licking the taste from his lips.

Steve pushes Orpheus slowly onto his back as they kiss, and then his mouth moves to kiss Orpheus's throat.

Orpheus moans softly, fingers curling into Steve's hair.

Steve alternates between eating the apple and feeding it to Orpheus, and kissing him--his mouth, his face, his neck.

Orpheus lets his fingers stroke through Steve's hair and down the back of his neck.

Steve puts the apple core aside and props himself on his elbows so he can pull Orpheus's tie loose.

Orpheus smiles and lets his hands settle at Steve's hips.

"I know it's not the same as Paris and parties," Steve murmurs as he unbuttons Orpheus's shirt, "but there are a few things I can do for you."

He tenderly kisses Orpheus's chest.

"Much better than parties," Orpheus whispers, looking at him fondly.

Steve smiles at him, then kisses Orpheus's stomach.

Orpheus keeps touching him lightly, his hair, his shoulders, his neck.

Steve moves up again to kiss his mouth, his hand between Orpheus's legs to stroke his cock.

"Gods," Orpheus groans into his mouth, hips pushing up a bit.
