[OOM: Orpheus - after the release party]

The record label is putting Orpheus up for the night in a hotel near Central Park. No one looks twice when Orpheus is accompanied by the young man in a striped suit, not that questions would drive Steve from Orpheus's side anyway.

There's champagne and a fruit basket from the hotel, and once Steve has put the LP safely with his luggage, he snags an apple--the food at the party was good but tiny, and he's hungry again--and gets comfortable on the brocade couch as he has a bite and loosens his tie.

It's been something of an overwhelming night.

"Gods," Orpheus murmurs. "You make me want to take all the time in the world with you."

Steve looks at him through his lashes.

"Go for it, darlin'."

Orpheus smirks and nuzzles along Steve's jaw, lips catching on his skin.

Steve gives a low purring moan.

Orpheus pushes him gently onto his back. He strokes his fingers across Steve's stomach as his lips drag down his throat.

Steve stretches beneath him, smiling. His stomach shivers under Orpheus's fingers.

"Beautiful," Orpheus whispers against his skin. As his fingers trace along Steve's muscles, he hums softly, little snippets from Steve's Song.

Steve purrs again, his breathing deeper.

Orpheus slowly kisses his way across Steve's chest, lips and tongue dragging over his skin.

Steve breathes, "Orpheus, dear God..." and rubs his hands over Orpheus's back.

Orpheus nips lightly at his skin, lips moving lower, teasing over Steve's nipple.

Steve's nipples are hard, and he breathes a little faster.

Orpheus takes his time here as well, his teeth catching on Steve's nipple.

Steve moans, low, and combs his fingers restlessly through Orpheus's hair.

Orpheus tugs Steve's nipple gently between his teeth.

Steve whimpers, his fingers digging into Orpheus's skin.

Orpheus releases it, kissing it lightly, soothing it with his tongue.

Steve caresses Orpheus's earlobe, watching him tenderly.

Orpheus smiles up at him and moves his mouth to the other nipple.

"Sweet Orpheus," Steve murmurs. His heartbeat is rapid and his skin is flushed, but he feels peaceful rather than frenzied, and he likes it.
