OOM: Orpheus

Steve puts down his cup so he can hang his jacket, grab some towels and take off his damp clothes.

"Sorry about that, down by the lake," he says again. "I've spent enough time in the woods lately that they shouldn't seem strange to me."

Orpheus hums thoughtfully and lifts his head.

"Can I blindfold you?"

Steve looks at him a moment, then swallows and nods. "Yes."

Orpheus grins and pushes himself up, moving to find one of his ties and bringing it back to the bed.

Steve looks a little apprehensive, but he smiles at Orpheus anyway.

"Trust me?" Orpheus whispers.

He holds Orpheus's hand a moment. "I trust you."

Orpheus bends to kiss him softly before laying the tie across his eyes.

Steve closes his eyes and slowly inhales. His hands clench for a moment.

Orpheus carefully secures the tie, bending again to kiss him. "Relax, lovely. I've got you."

Steve nods and forces his hands to unclench.

"Beautiful," he murmurs, nuzzling Steve's throat briefly.

Steve arches his neck, breathing through parted lips.

"Don't move," Orpheus breathes, getting up off the bed. "I'll be right back."

"Okay," Steve whispers. His hand glides along the mattress until he finds something to grip.

Orpheus moves to the small refrigerator and takes out a bowl of ice cubes. When he comes back to the bed, he leans in to kiss Steve again.

Steve kisses him back, tongue darting out to touch his lips.

Orpheus catches Steve's tongue between his teeth. He picks up one of the ice cubes and sets it in the center of Steve's chest.

Steve inhales sharply and whimpers.

"Gorgeous," Orpheus murmurs, taking hold of one of Steve's hands, weaving their fingers together as he slowly slides the ice across Steve's chest with his free hand.

"Orpheus," breathes Steve.

[golden_lyre]

"I love the noises you make," Orpheus whispers, running the cube around Steve's nipple.

"I can't--I don't--" He catches Orpheus's wrist. "I feel weird."

[golden_lyre]

"Do you want me to stop, lovely?" He pulls the ice away and moves his hand to the tie.

"I'm not sure. I don't know. I don't know what you're doing next."

[golden_lyre]

"That's the point, lovely," he says softly, letting his fingertip slide along Steve's cheek. "You have to trust me."
