OOM: Orpheus

Steve puts down his cup so he can hang his jacket, grab some towels and take off his damp clothes.

"Sorry about that, down by the lake," he says again. "I've spent enough time in the woods lately that they shouldn't seem strange to me."

"Might you?" He laughs and kisses Steve. "I think I could make that happen."

"I think I liked being completely in your hands," Steve says softly, hands on Orpheus's chest.

Orpheus smiles and lays his hand on top of Steve's. "You're not the only one who can take care of people."

"You've always taken good care of me, honey," Steve whispers, raising his head to kiss Orpheus.

"And I will as long as you want me to. As long as I'm able," Orpheus says softly, kissing him back.

If Steve's eyes look a little damp, that's because they are.

He holds Orpheus's face and wraps a leg around him as well, pulling Orpheus close to him.

Orpheus kisses him again. He's not ready yet to think about the dampness in Steve's eyes or what caused it.

Steve kisses him a few times more, then pulls away with a sigh. "I should wash up. I'm sticky." He caresses Orpheus's face and then sits up, and stretches out his his arms.

"Yeah," Orpheus says, his hand resting on Steve's back. "I should too."

Steve twists back to give him another kiss, and then gets out of bed to go to the bathroom. He intends to do this quickly tonight--he'd rather be under the covers again.

Orpheus gets up after a few moments, heading to the bathroom as well.

Steve is just at the sink, lathering up a washcloth. He flashes a smile at Orpheus.

"I may want pajamas tonight. I'm still a little cold."

"Do you have pajamas here?" he asks curling his arms around Steve from behind, kissing his shoulder.

Steve leans against him. "I have sweat pants and a few t-shirts. They'll do."

"Mmm, okay," Orpheus murmurs, kissing behind his ear and taking the cloth from him, dragging it over Steve's belly.

Steve inhales and rocks on the balls of his feet. He reaches back to touch Orpheus's face.

Orpheus washes him slowly and thoroughly, pressing against Steve's back.

Steve shivers and moans the entire while, his eyes half-closed.

Orpheus kisses the back of his neck and along his shoulder. "My lovely man," he murmurs.

Steve purrs and looks at Orpheus over his shoulder. "Sweetheart," he replies softly.

"I like knowing you're mine," Orpheus whispers, kissing him softly.

Steve kisses him back, then rests their heads together with a quiet sigh.

Orpheus closes his eyes a moment, just leaning against Steve.

"Here," Steve says, taking the washcloth. "Your turn." He turns and starts washing him.

Orpheus smiles, his hands resting on Steve's hips.
