OOM: Orpheus

Steve puts down his cup so he can hang his jacket, grab some towels and take off his damp clothes.

"Sorry about that, down by the lake," he says again. "I've spent enough time in the woods lately that they shouldn't seem strange to me."

"Gods, Steve," Orpheus groans, fucking him harder and faster.

Steve pushes up to him, legs tightening around him, and shouts hoarsely as he starts to come.

Orpheus buries his face in Steve's throat, hips snapping forward, driving himself to completion.

Steve rocks with him, arms around his back.

"Sweet Orpheus," he whispers, kissing his hair. "Lovely, wonderful Orpheus."

Orpheus groans softly into Steve's neck, his hips gradually slowing. "Steve," he whispers.

Steve smiles faintly beneath the blindfold. "Yeah, sweetheart?"

[golden_lyre]

"You were perfect," Orpheus whispers, moving to untie the knot and pull the tie away from Steve's eyes.

Steve covers his eyes, grimacing.

"Bright."

After a moment he takes his hand away, and smiles genuinely at Orpheus. "I think I was getting into it, at the end."

Orpheus grins and settles against him. "I'm glad," he says, kissing Steve's shoulder.

"You can always say no, you know."

"Someday I might, but I wanted to try it."

His smile turns mischievous. "I might want to try it again."

"Might you?" He laughs and kisses Steve. "I think I could make that happen."

"I think I liked being completely in your hands," Steve says softly, hands on Orpheus's chest.

Orpheus smiles and lays his hand on top of Steve's. "You're not the only one who can take care of people."

"You've always taken good care of me, honey," Steve whispers, raising his head to kiss Orpheus.

[golden_lyre]

"And I will as long as you want me to. As long as I'm able," Orpheus says softly, kissing him back.

If Steve's eyes look a little damp, that's because they are.

He holds Orpheus's face and wraps a leg around him as well, pulling Orpheus close to him.

Orpheus kisses him again. He's not ready yet to think about the dampness in Steve's eyes or what caused it.

Steve kisses him a few times more, then pulls away with a sigh. "I should wash up. I'm sticky." He caresses Orpheus's face and then sits up, and stretches out his his arms.

"Yeah," Orpheus says, his hand resting on Steve's back. "I should too."

Steve twists back to give him another kiss, and then gets out of bed to go to the bathroom. He intends to do this quickly tonight--he'd rather be under the covers again.

Orpheus gets up after a few moments, heading to the bathroom as well.

Steve is just at the sink, lathering up a washcloth. He flashes a smile at Orpheus.

"I may want pajamas tonight. I'm still a little cold."

[golden_lyre]

"Do you have pajamas here?" he asks curling his arms around Steve from behind, kissing his shoulder.

Steve leans against him. "I have sweat pants and a few t-shirts. They'll do."

[golden_lyre]

"Mmm, okay," Orpheus murmurs, kissing behind his ear and taking the cloth from him, dragging it over Steve's belly.
