Steve does not hustle Orpheus upstairs.

This is not to say he doesn't have plans. The way his hand lingers on the small of Orpheus's back is practically suggestive.

Orpheus doesn't mind not being hustled. He even lets Steve's hand stay on his back.

He's still pretty quick about getting the door unlocked and Steve inside.

Steve's cowl has been pushed back since he came to Milliways today, and he pulls it off first.

"This uniform wasn't designed for quick removal."

He unbuckles the utility belt.

Orpheus reaches out to stop his hands. "Let me? I want to see if I can figure it out."

Steve smiles and drops his hands. "All right."

"It's like unwrapping a very elaborate present," Orpheus says as he sets to work getting Steve undressed.

Steve laughs low in his throat, watching Orpheus's hands. He touches Orpheus's hair.

Orpheus gradually works out how to get Steve out of it. He smiles as Steve's skin is exposed.

Steve is smiling too, touching Orpheus's hair or his face sometimes instead of helping.

Once he's got Steve out of his uniform, Orpheus slides a hand over his chest and murmurs, "Such a gift..."

"All yours, sweetheart," Steve says softly and puts his arms around Orpheus's waist.

Orpheus smiles almost hesitantly and slides his arms around Steve as well, leaning in to kiss him.

Steve kisses him fiercely, rubbing Orpheus's back with his fingertips.

Orpheus groans softly, pressing against Steve.

Steve starts unbuttoning Orpheus's shirt as they kiss, and slides his fingers over Orpheus's chest.

Orpheus hums softly against his lips, shrugging out of his shirt.

Steve kisses down his neck.

Orpheus tilts his head for Steve, his hands sliding across Steve's back.

Steve sucks on his artery, fingers in Orpheus's hair.

Orpheus hums again, the sound vibrating in his throat.

"Darlin'," Steve whispers, "I want you--I want to do it here, standing up. Can we do that?"

"Yeah, we can," Orpheus murmurs, reaching for his trousers. "Turn around."

Steve turns, trembling.

Orpheus kisses the back of his neck and along his shoulder. "Gods, you are so beautiful," he murmurs, reaching around to slide his hand up Steve's chest, pressing his fingers to Steve's lips.

Steve kisses his fingers and makes a pleased grumble.

"I want you to suck on them, lovely," Orpheus whispers. "Get them nice and wet."
