After this conversation with Orpheus, Steve figured it was only a matter of time before he'd have a chance to actually tell people. And so it's only a few days later when he's in another TV studio, getting ready to go on camera.

The big difference is that for the first time, Orpheus is with him. It's hard to keep his eyes off him, and the makeup artist has to remind him once or twice, "Chin up, please, Captain."

"I love your body," Orpheus murmurs, kissing his way up Steve's stomach. "But I love your heart more than anything."

Steve traces Orpheus's ear. "You're so sweet, music man."

Orpheus rests his chin against Steve's chest, smiling up at him. "No, you are. Today you opened yourself up to the world so that others would not have to suffer."

"I don't know if it'll actually help anyone," Steve says quietly. "I only hope it will."

"It will," Orpheus says confidently. He feels it, in the way he sometimes gets flashes of people's futures. "You're a symbol, and today you became a symbol of hope to people who desperately need it."

Steve smiles and kisses his mouth, pushing Orpheus slowly onto his back as he does. "I love how you love me, sweetheart."

Orpheus settles his hands on Steve's hips, pulling him along with as he lays back. "I love how I love you too, lovely."

"That sounded a lot less egotistical in my head."

[ooc: Bedtime.]

"It didn't sound egotistical at all," he murmurs, leaning up to kiss him again.

Steve laughs as he kisses him back. "Okay, then."

Orpheus' hands run over Steve's back as they kiss, fingers tracing along his spine.

"What do you want to do, honey?" Steve whispers, kissing him, and then smiles mischievously. "Do you want it fast or slow?"

Orpheus laughs softly, rolling his hips up to meet Steve's. "Slow, I think," he murmurs.

Steve hums in agreement, sliding his hands up and down Orpheus's chest and back as they kiss.

"And what would you like, my love?" Orpheus murmurs, curling a leg up over Steve's hip.

"I don't know yet," Steve whispers as he kisses Orpheus's neck. "This is kinda nice."

Orpheus tilts his head back. "Mm, it is.

Steve kisses Orpheus's neck leisurely, down to his shoulder.

Orpheus hums softly, content.

[ooc: Going to take a quick nap.]

Steve pushes up Orpheus's shirt, stroking his stomach and chest, as he lightly kisses over Orpheus's face.

[ooc: Sorry, fighting off a migraine here. I'm going to call it a night.]

[ooc: Get some rest, love. Feel better!]

Orpheus laughs softly, fingertips lightly stroking over Steve's back.

Steve smiles at him.

And then blows a raspberry on his stomach.

He laughs louder, threading his fingers into Steve's hair.
