Steve keeps his arm around Orpheus until they're well into the apartment. "Keep me company in the kitchen?" he says, sliding his fingers just above the waistband of Orpheus's jeans.

Orpheus takes in a deep breath and lets it out slowly. He curls an arm around Steve's waist loosely, fingers stroking over his back. "Mmm, yes, I do. Thank you."

With a soft sigh, Steve relaxes into him. He strokes Orpheus's chest. "Glad you're here, honey," he murmurs.

Steve adjusts himself a little so he can curl more protectively around Orpheus. He brushes his lips over Orpheus's forehead.

"Go to sleep, Orpheus," he whispers. "I'll be here when you wake up."
