Steve keeps his arm around Orpheus until they're well into the apartment. "Keep me company in the kitchen?" he says, sliding his fingers just above the waistband of Orpheus's jeans.

Orpheus hums softly, curling an arm around Steve.

With a soft sigh, Steve relaxes into him. He strokes Orpheus's chest. "Glad you're here, honey," he murmurs.

"So am I, my love," he breathes, tucking his head against Steve's neck.

Steve adjusts himself a little so he can curl more protectively around Orpheus. He brushes his lips over Orpheus's forehead.

"Go to sleep, Orpheus," he whispers. "I'll be here when you wake up."

"Mmkay," Orpheus murmurs, letting his eyes close. "Love you."

Steve smiles faintly and whispers, "Love you too."

With a caress to Orpheus's hair, he closes his eyes.
