OOM: Orpheus, NYC

Now that Steve has a more solid vision of the place he'll build with Orpheus, the utilitarian apartment feels even less like home. He gives the plain walls an impatient look as he and Orpheus walk through to the bedroom.

"I'm itching to get started with renovating," he complains, "and we haven't even found the right location yet."

"Beautiful," Steve whispers and kisses his chest. "So beautiful."

"Yes, you are," Orpheus breathes, laughing softly.

Steve laughs too, and kisses him.

Orpheus moans into the kiss, jerking himself faster and harder.

"C'mon, honey," Steve moans, "c'mon, I want to see you come, come for me."

"Yes, yes," Orpheus gasps. "Gods, yes..." He throws his head back as he comes, groaning loudly.

Steve wraps his arms around Orpheus and buries his face in Orpheus's neck as he finally lets himself go. He groans roughly as he comes, his body shaking.

Orpheus hums in satisfaction, going limp under him.

Steve clasps him tight, breathing heavily.

Orpheus shifts to let his leg fall from Steve's shoulder.

"Sorry, honey," Steve murmurs and moves his weight off Orpheus.

"Mmmm, 'ts fine," Orpheus says, stroking lazily over Steve's back.

Steve lays a leg over his hip and kisses him sweetly.

Orpheus leans his head against Steve's.

Steve strokes his cheek, looking at him fondly.

Orpheus' eyes close, and he hums softly.

Steve goes on stroking his cheek, gazing at him.

"I love your face," he whispers. "I love the sweep of your cheekbones and the pillow of your lips. I love the slope of your nose. I love every one of your eyelashes."

Orpheus smiles, slowly blinking his eyes open.

"You have the bluest eyes I've ever seen."

[golden_lyre]

He laughs softly. "Don't spend much time looking in the mirror?"

Steve smiles. "Not much, no."

[golden_lyre]

"Because your eyes are beautiful," he murmurs, reaching up to cup Steve's cheek in his hand.

Steve kisses his hand. "Thank you, sweetheart."

"It's true," Orpheus says. "You don't have to thank me."

"It's good manners to thank someone for a compliment," Steve replies primly, and kisses his wrist.
