OOM: Orpheus, NYC

Now that Steve has a more solid vision of the place he'll build with Orpheus, the utilitarian apartment feels even less like home. He gives the plain walls an impatient look as he and Orpheus walk through to the bedroom.

"I'm itching to get started with renovating," he complains, "and we haven't even found the right location yet."

Steve relaxes completely against him.

"Tired?" he murmurs into Steve's hair.

"Little bit," Steve whispers.

"Mmm, me too," he replies quietly. "Tomorrow we can look for apartment space..."

Steve gives a happy sigh. "Can't wait to make a home with you..."

"Neither can I, my love," Orpheus murmurs.

Steve strokes Orpheus's chest sleepily. "Love you so much, honey."

"Love you too," Orpheus whispers, eyes drifting closed.

Steve pulls the sheet over them, gives Orpheus a sleepy kiss, and closes his eyes.

Orpheus hums quietly into his hair until he drifts off.
