OOM: Orpheus

Steve has had a busy day--busier than he anticipated, in fact, and he'd rather go back to base fresh than worn out.

And he has the key Orpheus gave him.

So it's one supersoldier, one sleepy shower and a solid eight hours later, who's asleep in Orpheus's bed.

"You sure about that?" Orpheus asks, sliding his hand up under the back of Steve's shirt.

"I'm sure." He shivers at Orpheus's touch. "I'm at peace with myself. If I felt corrupted, I don't think that would be true."

"I think you're right," Orpheus says quietly, pushing Steve's shirt up. "I think you might just be incorruptible."

Steve pulls his shirt off and drops it to the floor. "And anyway," he says with a kiss to Orpheus's hair, "how could this be corruption? It's wonderful."

"I hear sin is very pleasant," Orpheus points out. "And lots of things that are bad for you feel incredible." He leans forward to kiss Steve's shoulder.

Steve caresses Orpheus's hair. "I don't just mean pleasure. I mean having someone who thinks you're wonderful."

"Psychopaths think people are wonderful sometimes. It's not always good for those people," Orpheus teases.

"You're not a psychopath," Steve replies, rubbing their noses together. "I would have noticed by now."

"Yeah, probably," Orpheus murmurs, kissing him again.

Steve takes Orpheus's face in his hands again and looks seriously into his eyes. "Orpheus. I'm not naive. I understand people pretty well. I wouldn't want to be here if I didn't think you were a good person. I wouldn't be with you if I didn't think you were worth my time. Okay?"

"Okay," Orpheus says. He's not convinced that he actually is worth Steve's time, but he believes Steve believes that, at least.

"Okay," Steve murmurs and kisses him deeply.

Orpheus easily returns the kiss.

Steve pulls away, with a few quick kisses, then removes all the dishes from the bed.

"No breakage," he murmurs and kisses Orpheus again.

"So thoughtful," Orpheus murmurs, pulling Steve closer.

"I want to roll around with you."

[golden_lyre]

"Roll around, hm?"

[thekidfrombrooklyn]

"Yup." He pulls Orpheus down and rolls onto his back, pulling Orpheus on top of him. "Just for starters."

"Mm, okay," Orpheus says, laughing and kissing him.

Steve kneads Orpheus's ass as they kiss.

Orpheus moans softly, sucking on Steve's lip.

Steve wraps a leg around him.

Orpheus makes a pleased noise and rolls his hips forward.

Steve pushes up his hips in response.

Orpheus moans a bit louder, his hand sliding over Steve's chest.
