"I have been reading a lot lately," Steve remarks when he unlocks the door to let them in. "So much literature to catch up on."

"Yes, that's it, my love," Orpheus murmurs. "Come for me..."

Steve buries his head in Orpheus's neck and groans, his arms shaking as he comes.

Orpheus strokes his fingers through Steve's hair and down his back slowly.

Steve exhales deeply.

After a moment he murmurs, "Bed's still standing."

Orpheus laughs softly. "I'm kind of glad about that..."

"That's right, you like this bed." He slides out carefully and lays Orpheus on his back, and collapses next to him. He kisses Orpheus's shoulder.

"You don't mind, do you?" he asks, curling an arm around him.

Steve laughs roughly. "I don't mind. I think it was mostly a figure of speech anyway."

"Good," Orpheus says with a chuckle. "We could always buy a bed specifically for that purpose..."

"I don't know... seems like a waste of good furniture."

[golden_lyre]

"It could be a waste of crappy furniture?"

[thekidfrombrooklyn]

Steve laughs. "Only if it's a really... cheap... bed," he murmurs between kisses.

[golden_lyre]

Orpheus smiles. "That'd make it easier to break."

[thekidfrombrooklyn]

"I think the kids say 'challenge accepted' in situations like this."

[golden_lyre]

He laughs. "Yeah, I think that's pretty much it."
