After all the ups and downs and adrenaline rushes of the day, one hopes Steve can be forgiven for pushes Orpheus against the door as soon as its closed and kissing him senseless.

Steve kisses him, a hand on the back of his neck.

"Is this okay?"

"Mmhm," Orpheus murmurs, kissing him back and then tucking his head under Steve's chin.

Steve strokes Orpheus's back and gives a slow rock of his hips, barely a thrust.

Orpheus groans softly, fingers flexing on Steve's biceps.

"Sh, sh," Steve whispers. "Just relax, darlin'."

"'M relaxed," Orpheus says quietly.

Orpheus hums softly.

Steve hums too, an old lullaby, and softly kisses Orpheus's face.

Orpheus closes his eyes, settling against Steve comfortably.

Steve brushes his lips against Orpheus's forehead.

Orpheus' humming trails off as he starts to drift.

Steve strokes his hair, and then tucks his head against Orpheus's and loosely holds him so they stay as close as they can even in sleep.
